We're at the three week mark!! Yay!!! Is it bad that I've already started packing the things that we can live without? I've even started to put together outfits and writing notes for my sister since she's going to be taking care of my furry kids!!!!
I'm sad that we're getting close because that means it will be over soon.... I'm not looking forward to the drive, but I am looking forward to this well earned vacation.....
Next time I write, I'll be on my way to Disney!!!

Not just rides.....
While Disney is know for the parks and rides, there are many other things that you can do while in Disney. I was watching a "Behind the Scenes" on Disney, and experts said that you could spend a whole year at Disney World, and still not do everything that there is to do.
Each hotel has fun things to do, so my advice would be to take a day and explore the hotels. You can golf, play tennis, or just relax on Disney's Boardwalk, with restaurants and great shops, and it also has a Dueling Piano Bar.
Downtown Disney is the best place to visit when you first get to Disney. Between the shops and great places to eat, there are tons of places to spend your money!!!! For adults, Pleasure Island is a fun place to enjoy the night life, with comedy clubs, dance clubs, and great shops.
Don't think that Disney is just for kids, because trust me, there are plenty of things to do!!

I do....
So, Sean and I only have a month until we celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Yes, I'm ecstatic about my trip to Disney, but I'm very proud of both of us. We dated for three years before getting married, but we were both very young (21 and 20), so we knew it was going to be tough. I have to say that we were blessed to find each other and to have a family that supports us they way ours do. In our five years together, we've bought two house, have careers that we are proud of, and have two furry kids between us. I'm not sure what the next few years have ahead of us, hopefully we'll be able to add a few true children to our family, but as long as we're together I know we'll make it :)

And now we eat....
Today, Sean and I finished making all of our reservations for dinner, and it's really sinking in that we're going in less than a month!!! Since we got the dining plan, we decided to eat in place that we would normally pass up, or places that would be too expensive for us when we have a family.
I'm just excited to go, and Sean's most excited about eating at the Rose and Crown Pub in England. He wants some authentic Shephard's Pie, since he insists that I don't make it right. :)
Now to the story I promised:
At the 50's Prime Time Diner, all the waitresses become your "mom" and if you don't mind your manners, eat you veggies, or follow directions you will get in trouble. On one trip, mama, daddy, Jeff, Mel, and I were sitting at the table, when all of a sudden my Uncle Frank came by and popped my dad on the back of the head. Of course, he ran back to his seat across the restaurant and started to laugh. Then daddy got up and did the same thing, except this time they both got caught fighting out of their seats. Both Uncle Frank and Daddy has to spend time with their noses in the corner and were in timeout. I laugh everytime we go in there and I can't wait to go back with when my siblings and I have kids and do the same thing!

Last but not least.... Hollywood Studios
Okay, today is going to be all about my second favorite park, Hollywood Studios, aka MGM Studios (before it was changed over.) When you walk into H.S. it feels as if you've been transported back to Hollywood during the 1950s, you basically drown in the nostaglia.
The rides here are amazing. From the super creepy Tower of Terror to Aerosmith's Rockin Rollercoaster, there's a little bit for everybody. This would be the park with the most "thrill" rides, and I do hate to do the Tower of Terror ( I hate the dropping in my stomach), but I can't come home unless I do it! Does that make any sense at all? Lights, Camera, Action is a fast paced stunt show, Raiders of the Lost Ark lets you get up close and personal with Indiana Jones, and Star Tours lets you fly into space....
Oh, and you can't forget the Great Movie Ride, which lets you take a stroll through all the best movies ever made. But, my favorite part about H.S. is the street performances. All of a sudden, you'll see a group of characters set up along the street and start their skit. Normally, you will have to participate in the skit, but these are random and you're never sure what they'll make you do!!!
Here are a few places you have to eat when you visit Hollywood Studios:
Pizza Planet- Yes, the one from Toy Story
and
50's Prime Time Diner- Where everyone is treated like family, and if you don't mind your manners, you have to stand in the corner!!! I'll tell more stories from that particular place tomorrow.... C-ya then!

One Month to go!!!!!!
In exactly one month, I'll be in the Happiest Place on Earth!!!! I can't wait..... Now, I'm starting to stress a little. Now, Sean and I have been on smaller vacations before, but never this far away, so I'm nervous that we'll forget something :( Any tips and reminders would be greatly appreciated. Between school, keeping up the house, and praying and searching for a job, this month should speed by....
We received our tickets and luggage tags the other day!!! It made everything seem real, and we even got a lot of coupons that we can use while in Disney!!!! I'm can't wait, I really can't!!! See ya next time.....

Animal Kingdom
I have to be honest.... this is my least favorite Disney park! I'm not really into animals, and this park is all about them. Now, don't get me wrong, the park is beautiful, but if you are going to see the animals, you'll need to get there early in the morning or in the evening around feeding time. Oh, and this park is HUGE, so make sure you've able to get around. Here are a few things that I do recommend that you do while you visit Animal Kingdom.
Must Do List:
Expedition Everest-- One of the best roller coasters out there, you start going one direction, and then you're shot backwards.
It's Tough to be a Bug- A 3D show featuring all the bugs from "It's a Bug's Life."
The Tree of Life is an amazing sight!! It's a huge tree with animals carved into the sides. You could spend all day examining the tree, itself.
Last but not least, Dinosaur- very fun, kind of scary, but a great time over all!
